Oh Holy Day

ho·ly

  [hoh-lee] adjective, -li·er, -li·est,noun, plural -lies.
adjective
4.
having a spiritually pure quality: a holy love.

I do not care what religion you embrace.... I do not even care whether or not you do embrace religion. What I do care about is you, and your spiritual well-being.  Regardless of denominational leanings, this time of year offers a beautiful opportunity to go deeper and further in loving our fellow man.  To me, 'peace on earth, goodwill toward men' is the greatest gift we can give to one another.... especially those nearest and dearest who often fail to arouse the kind of enthusiastic reception and treatment we show those with whom we interact only periodically.

And so my Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa request is that you would put some time and effort this season into showing the ones you see most frequently how important and precious they are to you... that regardless of how busy you get, you do notice all they do for you... and that you truly appreciate them and could never take their love and kindness for granted.

Enjoy these holy days.  They are a gift to both the receiver and the giver.
